Family Fun!

We went to a parade yesterday, and the kids had such a good time. My normally shy, reserved boys were not at all shy when candy was involved. They got a huge bag full of candy, and N was not at all shy about standing out in the street with his arms out with the "give me candy" look on his face. It made me so proud ... NOT! But, I need to remember, he's only 3 ... and this was only his second parade, and to him, people throwing candy is a cool thing. He didn't care so much about the actual candy - he just loved running out to fetch it. LOL! Such a fun little game that is. ;-)

Miss M came out of her shell last night. It was fabulous to see! Typically she is VERY unsure of "strangers" and doesn't really like anyone looking at her or holding her. (understandably so) However, last night she showed her true colors. She was giggling, smiling and having so much fun with everyone. She even let my Mom and Dad hold her ... they loved that!

Speaking of Miss M -- she is 15 months old today! She's growing up way too fast. N was teaching her how to say words this afternoon. I had a few tears in my eyes, because it was so precious to sit and watch the two of them. N actually had her say "yellow" and "red" ... he was SO proud - as was I.
